Policies You Agree to By Using Our Services
for grooming APPOINTMENT TIMES
An appointment time is truly an ‘estimated time of arrival’. Arrival time will be in a 1-2 hour time span. As a mobile service, our schedule is subject to interruptions and delays, such as, but not limited to: Refueling, traffic, driving distance from previous appointment and running over on a previous appointment. If Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming feels they will be more than30 minutes early or late, we will call or send you a text .You should have your dogs ready 30 prior to groom time .
KEY ON FILE SERVICE
Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming offers a ‘key on file service’. Client provides Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming with a key to keep on file, a garage code, or some other form of access to the home, Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming will come by at your scheduled grooming appointment time to care for your pet .Pawsitively Purrfect is not reasonable for damage do to grooming van , such as concrete , grass , or oil . We do use a generator to keep van running , unfortunately oil from the generator can leak out . If we see this has happened we will let client no so they can take care of it . Water can also run into lawn . We do use all bi0-friendly products .
PAYMENT INFO
Payment is due at time of service. Starting October 1 , 2024 a late fee per day of $1 a day will be added to your final payment . Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming accepts Cash, Venmo and Cash App . Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming will send this payment information to you .
Standard tips are very much appreciated .Tips are not included in price of grooming. Tipping is usually between 15 and 25% of the total bill.
SCHEDULING
We encourage you to preschedule your appointments up to 12 months in advance to ensure your dog will always have an appointment when they will need it.Must be every 6 weeks or less .
GROOMING CANCELLATION POLICY
Groomers wages are commission based. If you cancel last minute, not only do we loose out on fitting in another customer, but the groomer looses income that helps pay bills and food for the family .This is why Pawsitively Purrfect has a strict cancellation policy to protect our groomers and make sure that this does not hurt their bottom line. This will be reinforced starting October 2024.
On all cancellations that are not on our regular 6 week or less militance calendar schedule a $25 per dog fee will be added on to grooming appointment plus 50% the groom price and must be paid day of scheduled appointment . Service will not continue until paid. If you have a reserved spot for the whole calendar year you will still be charged 50% of the groom fee due on that same day of appointment .Again we will not service until paid. In the event Client needs to CANCEL appointment: Client understands that they must notify Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming LLC. by text. Text message will be sent out to every client on the weekend prior to scheduled appointment. Please text back with a” yes” to confirm appointment. If you cancel your appointment we will see you on your next schuduled appointment date. After the third cancellation you will be dropped. Our appointment schedule is tightly booked for specific areas.
Client understands that cancellations may occur at any time by Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming LLC due to weather/road conditions, equipment failure, etc. Client understands that every effort will be made to contact them for rescheduling.
FLEA/TICK INFESTATION/SALON SANITATION
Flea and tick infestation will NOT be tolerated. A $50 charge will be added to groom price for medicated bath and to clean van of the fleas before next grooming client and will set our next appointment about 45 minutes behind scheduled time .
SENIOR PETS AND PETS WITH HEALTH ISSUES
Grooming procedures sometimes can be stressful, especially for a senior pet or a pet with health problems. Because senior pets with health problems have a greater chance of injury, these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress.Pawsitively Purrfect will not be responsible for accident or injury to an elderly pet during their grooming.
PICTURES
Client consents that Pawsitively Purrfect may take pictures of your pet, before and after grooming, and utilize the same for their website, social media for any and all and/or advertising purposes atPawsitively Purrfect discretion.
MATTING
Client does hereby entrust their pet(s) to Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming LLC for the purpose of grooming. Client is aware that all care will be taken with pet(s) for the safety of pet and groomer. Client is aware that neglect of pet’s coat can cause problems during and after grooming such as clipper/brush irritation. If pet doesn’t remain still during the grooming procedure, accidents can happen such as nicks from clippers or scissors.Pet may be shaved before bath due to matting. Shave down is a labor intensive process and is hard on equipment and the pet and groomer and does require an additional fee.
BEHAVIORAL ISSUES
Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming LLC has the right to refuse service in the event that a pet can NOT be handled safely. Tranquilized pets will not be accommodated as they should be groomed in the safety of a vet clinic/hospital with an ‘in-house’ groomer. The use of muzzles is an acceptable safety measure. We do not do aggressive dogs at all. Grooming services can be stopped mid-groom if necessary for the safety of the pet or groomer and client will pay full price of the groom.
* Please remember that you, the pet owner, must advise us of any medical, physical, aggression
issues, allergies, sensitivities or pre-existing conditions. This should include any prior surgeries, hip or
joint issues, warts, moles, ear infections or skin problems. The dog will not be on medication of any kind
without the groomer knowing in advance.
• The pet owner will be held liable for any bites that require medical treatment and/or for any
property damage caused by their pet.
• Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming reserves the right to refuse service for any reason.
Appointment time: Dogs run our schedule. We will be as communicative as possible.
It is also further understood and agreed the terms of this agreement can change at any time, without notice, and will overwrite any and all prior signed contracts or releases. It is further understood that this clause applies to any and all pets groomed with Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming LLC
